With over 35 schools offering nursing programs, Kansas is a leader in the forefront of easing the United States' nursing shortage. The importance of nursing worldwide, especially in times of crisis, is causing concern with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN.) With the help of schools, policy makers and kindred organizations, the hope is to expand enrollment levels to match rising demands.
