"When In Rome" is an amazing romantic comedy that had me laughing from beginning to end.
Starring Kristen Bell, Josh Duhamel, Jon Heder,Dax Shepard,Will ArnetAlexis DzienaAnjelica Huston,Danny DeVito, and Don Johnson. The plot is simple and fun Beth is in this awkward time in her life where love seems to go the other way from her and she really doesn't have time for it.
With every failed attempt Beth grows more and more bitter. Then when visiting Rome to attend her sister's wedding she angrily plucks a handful of coins from a local fountain of love. Soon after that Beth finds herself having to beat men off with a stick. A Hilarious sausage magnate Al Russo, street magician Lance, a doting painter Antonio and a narcissistic male model Gale. All the while the man of her dreams, a reporter named Nick Beamon, does his best to convince Beth that true love isn't just a topic of fairy tales and romance novels. It is a laugh a minute film that you will not regret seeing.
"When In Rome" director Mark Steven Johnson did a fairly good job of constructing the scenes. Overall, the reviews for this movie aren't the best, and it doesn't have the punch of films like Avatar.
However, I do recommend this movie to anyone who likes romantic comedies or if your just looking for a good old fashion laugh at the movie theaters but don't expect to be "wowed."
